Core Values

Value #1 Affordable and Accessible Care

We believe that care should be affordable and accessible. Oftentimes women do not receive the care they deserve because of time constraints, financial hardship, and lack of insurance. Our services are here to fill in the gap, making health care more affordable and accessible.

Value #2 Health Education

We believe that women who are well versed about their health are empowered to live healthier lives. Our health education focuses on disease prevention, increasing health equity, and decreasing negative health outcomes.

Value #3 Holistic Healthcare

We believe in incorporating the total person into their care plan. True wellness is an integration of the physical, social, spiritual, and mental aspects into one’s plan of care. At Perfect Harmony, it is our goal to provide care that is holistic and all encompassing of the woman’s values

Meet Dr. Shalonna Battle, DNP WHNP-BC

Dr. Shalonna Battle is a women’s health nurse practitioner with over 13 years of clinical and nursing education experience. She has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Florida Memorial University, a bachelor’s of science degree in nursing from the University of Miami. a masters of science degree in nursing from Frontier University, and finally a doctoral of nursing practice degree from Florida Atlantic University. Although school has played a major role in her success as a clinician, it is the hands-on clinical experience that has really groomed her into the healthcare provider she is today.

She is experienced in caring for women across the lifespan. She manages all women’s health concerns which include, but not limited to common gynecological concerns and disorders, family planning and reproductive care, caring for women who are survivors of abuse and sexual assault, recurrent and chronic vaginal infections, perinatal care, and postmenopausal concerns.

In December of 2020 Dr. Battle successfully completed her doctoral project, which focused on improving health outcomes for women who are victims of intimate partner violence. The DNP project was designed so that health care providers would have the opportunity to form a supportive connection with women who were survivors of intimate partner violence, share in her experience, and enhance the provider-patient relationship. The project also facilitated holistic care that addressed the woman’s psychosocial needs, sustained her self-worth, and empowered her to move towards a state of well-being. As a result of this project, she gained a wealth of knowledge about intimate partner violence and what survivors need in order to maintain their health, dignity, and self-confidence.

Dr. Battle’s philosophy about healthcare is simple! When it comes to a woman’s body, she is the expert.

A woman has more knowledge than anyone else about the way her body feels, operates, and respond to environmental stimuli. Therefore, healthcare providers provide guidance, while she leads the way to her own wellness and happiness!
